Vermilion Analytics is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in line with the UK Government’s policy and Procurement Policy Note 06/21.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline Year: 2024
This is the first year we are reporting emissions. As a home-based operation with no external premises or fleet, emissions are minimal and relate to:

Scope 1:
None (no vehicles or fuel combustion equipment)
Scope 2:
Solar electricity used in home office
Scope 3:
Business travel (e.g. trains for networking events)
Employee home working energy usage

4. Emissions Reduction Targets

We aim to reduce emissions by 25% by 2030, through efficiency measures and increased use of renewables.

5. Carbon Reduction Initiatives

We have already adopted or plan to implement the following:
Minimising travel through virtual client meetings
Carbon offsetting for essential in-person networking
Investing in energy-efficient equipment
Exploring AI tools to reduce physical resource use (e.g. paper, printing)

6. Declaration

This plan has been reviewed and approved by the Director and published in line with PPN 06/21.
